Modern Salon Furniture – Store Policy, Returns & Warranty

At Modern Salon Furniture, we are committed to providing high-quality salon, barber, and spa furniture at competitive prices across British Columbia. As many of our products are imported, large in size, and require delivery or assembly, the following policies apply to all purchases.

Modern Salon Furniture reserves the right to change product prices, promotions, specifications, availability, and offers without prior notice. While every effort is made to ensure pricing accuracy, any pricing errors are unintentional. In the event of a discrepancy between online pricing and showroom pricing, the showroom price shall be considered final.

All purchases made through Modern Salon Furniture are subject to the following terms and conditions.

Delivery, Pickup & Product Inspection

Customers are responsible for inspecting all products at the time of pickup or delivery. Any visible damage, missing parts, or product discrepancies must be reported to Modern Salon Furniture within 24 hours of receiving the product.

To process any claim, customers may be required to provide:

  • Original invoice or proof of purchase
  • Clear photos or videos of the issue
  • Product details and description of the damage or defect

Failure to report issues within the stated timeframe may affect claim eligibility.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

In the rare event that a product is delivered damaged or an incorrect item is supplied, please contact Modern Salon Furniture immediately.

Once the issue has been reviewed and approved, we will determine the appropriate solution, which may include:

  • Replacement of damaged parts
  • Product repair
  • Product replacement (subject to availability)

Replacement timelines may vary depending on stock availability and supplier lead times.

Returns & Exchanges

Due to the nature of our products, all furniture sales are final.

Returns or exchanges are only considered for approved eligible non-furniture accessories that are:

  • Unused
  • In original unopened packaging
  • In resalable condition

Approved exchange requests must be made within 7 days of purchase.

All shipping, pickup, delivery, and handling charges related to approved exchanges are the responsibility of the customer.

Final Sale Items

The following items are strictly final sale and are not eligible for refund, return, or exchange:

  • All furniture items
  • Custom-made or special-order products
  • Imported pre-order items
  • Clearance or sale items
  • Assembled, installed, or used products
  • Products removed from original packaging

Deposits paid for custom orders, pre-orders, or special imported products are non-refundable once the order has been confirmed.

Warranty Policy

Selected products include a limited warranty covering manufacturing defects only.

Warranty coverage applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. A valid original invoice must be presented for all warranty claims.

Warranty coverage may include defects related to:

  • Manufacturing faults in mechanical components

Warranty Exclusions

Warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Cosmetic damage after delivery
  • Scratches, stains, or surface damage
  • Damage caused by misuse, negligence, improper care, or improper assembly
  • Damage during customer transportation
  • Labour or technician service charges
  • Pickup, freight, shipping, or delivery charges
  • Damage caused by overloading or commercial misuse beyond intended use

General Terms

Modern Salon Furniture reserves the right to inspect, assess, and determine the final resolution of any claim or dispute.

Any approved resolution shall be solely at the discretion of Modern Salon Furniture and may include repair, replacement parts, replacement product, or other reasonable remedies depending on the circumstances.
